Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is home to nearly half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas - about 459 individuals in 36 families.
Trekking can take 2-8 hours depending on gorilla location. Good fitness required. Minimum age 15. Follow guide instructions at all times.
Schedule flights from Kigali for evening (after 5pm) to allow comfortable travel time. We recommend overnight in Kigali if you have early morning flights.
